If you were in Seremban, chances are you would have had the Siew Pau, a kind of pastry filled with pork meat. But as a true blue glutton, our quest for delicious food will not stop at siew pau as Seremban has much more to offer than just that!
Here are the 5 food that you may have missed out in Seremban!
1. Keong Kee Recipe
Address: 72, Jalan Seng Meng Lee, 70200 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

A classic old restaurant that has been dishing out handmade noodles for decades. Their handcrafted Wan Tan Mee is the best, unlike the typical egg noodles you get in KL, this is way better! Simple, yet a MUST. Another signature of theirs would be the Curry Mee, some said it’s the best chicken curry mee in town. Tasty thick broth, extremely tender and smooth chicken.
2. Ikan Bakar
Address: Jalan Tun Dr Ismail, 70200 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
Hours: 6 pm to 11 pm daily. Closed on Monday.
Yes, don’t doubt it, it is really named Ikan Bakar (Grilled Fish)! Simple and nice, just like their food. For serious seafood lovers only! Fresh grilled seafood, paired with their amazing sambal sauce. A range of different fishes are available but the Ikan Pari (Stingray Fish) is still the best. Best of all, it’s 1/2 of what you would pay in KL. There’s also a really good laksa stall next to it.
3. Rasah Jaya Mee Hoon Sotong (Cuttlefish Vermicelli)
Address: Jalan Rasah Utama 1, Taman Rasah Jaya, 70300 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
Hours: Breakfast & Brunch.
One of the most sought-after breakfasts that will drag you out of your lovely bed early in the morning. A bowl of rice vermicelli paired with a few slices of cuttlefish, soaked in thick gravy-like sauce, topped with an unmistakable smoky flavor. Most importantly, it’s served in a small portion, so you could have a light breakfast and have more “storage” for your food trip!
4. Yi Poh Lou Shu Fun
Address: 26A, Ground Floor, Jalan Seng Meng Lee, 70200 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm daily.
Seremban people are mostly Lou Shu Fun lovers, as you can see it’s everywhere, unlike KL. Bouncy and freshly made daily. Many would queue at this restaurant in Seremban just for a bowl of the noodles sold here! A bowl of dry noodles came with condiments of generous minced pork and some pork slices, coated with dark soya sauce. Served with the highlight of the dish, their spicy chili sambal.
5. The Street Crab & Lala Restaurant

Seremban is always known as the next Crab city. Yet, this restaurant is having the best crab in town! It was originally opened on the street and only provided packaged services, but it has grown bigger and better. Macao cheese is one of the must try. Do take note they have a very limited menu.
Whether you’re making a trip or happen to pass by the town, it is worthwhile to make a quick stop for a delightful treat and experience some of the best Seremban food.
