Managing your car listing can be tricky, especially if you’re new to Kwikcar. Fret not! We have put together some handy hacks to help you to secure your very first booking 🙂
#1 Turn on Push Notification (you will also get an SMS and email)
Timely reply is crucial for the renter to decide which car to rent. Renters will generally attempt to make several bookings (although they are limited to 5 bookings at a time) – meaning the first to get back to them gets their attention.. This is where you should MAKE SURE your Kwikcar’s push notification is turned on.
To enable push notifications on Android phones:
- On your Android device, go to Settings.
- Tap Apps & notifications > Notifications management
- Tap on the Kwikcar app.
- Make sure Notifications are set to On
To enable push notifications on iPhones:
- On your Apple device, go to Settings.
- Tap Notifications
- Tap on the Kwikcar app.
- Make sure you have selected Allow Notifications
#2 Set a Competitive Rate
Money talks! One of the easiest ways to attract the attention of renters is to keep your rental rates dynamic, for instance lowering the rate when demand is low. When a renter is comparing two similar cars, it may boil down to simply which car is the cheaper option. (This NEW feature will soon be updated)
#3 Complete all the Details
A complete listing will help us to list your car accurately. Additional information on the description section will help renters know the key or unique features of your car. There is also certain etiquette that can you list down as your ‘car rules’.
#4 Upload Photos that are ‘WOW’
We can’t stress enough the importance of great photos for renters’ communication. You want your car to look the best that it can be which means that you need to think about lighting, angles, framing, focus and a bunch of other things. Would a wide-angle lens be a better way to feature the exterior? Is it a good idea to take pictures in full sunlight? These are searchable questions that you can get it from Google, or check out the heck out our awesome blogs that can help!
#5 Serve with a smile
Experience means everything on Kwikcar which is why you need to make sure your first few renters have a phenomenal experience and feel compelled to tell the world about it. It all about communicates effectively with renters:
- Be responsive to renter questions.
- Explain essential car rules with the renter.
- Ensure pickup and dropoff (car) goes smoothly.
